Have you seen the details of our latest fundraising event?
On 10th December, we are hosting a wreath making workshop with one of our florists, Allium Design.
Which has got us thinking, how could you incorporate wreaths in your wedding day?
At Ufton, wreaths can be shown off in lots of locations – the wooden barn doors, the front door of the Manor House, hanging from the beams above the card/cake tables, backdrop to the top table, used on the windowsills in the Archers Hall.
We love seeing all of the creative table centrepieces at Ufton Weddings, and we are sure that a wreath could make a beautiful table centrepiece too – for a winter wedding, adding lots of foliage, pinecones and thistles would make a beautiful seasonal wreath. In the summer, making a wreath from lots of brightly coloured flowers would look stunning on each table for your wedding breakfast.
Have a large wreath for a DIY photo frame – a gorgeous backdrop for your wedding photos. This could also be used to frame the table behind the ceremony and moved to the top table for the wedding breakfast, before being used as a photo frame during the evening celebrations.
Also a fun thing to do with your hens – have you got a winter wedding coming up? Or just fancy getting the ladies together for a fun workshop and to spend some quality time together? Our wreath workshop could be a lovely little treat. For ex-Ufton brides, this could be a great opportunity to come and revisit your wedding venue!
