This year, we have seen the rise of the boho wedding, and it is a trend that we are absolutely loving!
What is the boho wedding you may ask? We have gathered up our top tips to truly embrace this trend.
A boho wedding is a definite must for the creative couple. Think alternative decorations, lots of bright colours and don’t be afraid to add a few touches of luxury to your wedding day with textured coppers and metals…
Unstructured wedding dresses and simple flower crowns or headbands are the hallmarks of a boho bride. Feathers add a whimsical touch to any boho wedding. We particularly love them for winter weddings, adding a touch of glamour to an already elegant fur cape or shawl.
Tie in the flowers used in your flower crown with feathers or feathered pampas grasses for your bouquet. Feathered patterns would also look beautiful in a dried bouquet, which is another popular trend for 2018/19 autumn and winter weddings.
As well as the bouquets, why not add some feathers, lengths of fabric and tiny bottles filled with flowers to your table centrepieces.
Boho decorations such as dream catchers, would look beautiful hanging from the exposed beams in our tithe barn behind the cake and card tables… a fantastic ‘wow’ feature as your guests first enter the barn. Pampas grass, feathers and all things foliage would make a stunning photobooth backdrop too!
Add a feathered pattern or edible flowers and petals to your cake and cake table – how about a feathered cake topper to really embrace the boho theme?
