If you are still looking for some suppliers for your wedding day, we might just be able to help…
It’s the month of our wedding fayre!
Our wedding fayres are becoming increasingly popular and this Spring wedding fayre is no exception! It is set to be our biggest yet, with over 50 different suppliers from florists to event dressers, travel agents to caterers, and we’ve even enlisted some quirky additional extras for this year, including Lost Vegas who will be offering casino hire and ‘magic’ mirrors… all of whom are coming along to show you what they could offer. This year we have suppliers exhibiting in our tithe barn, in the Manor House, in the Archers hall, in the grounds and in a marquee at the front of the house, supplied by Lex Marquees.
Taking place on Sunday 29th April between 11am and 3pm, our April wedding fayre is a free event – meaning everyone can be involved in the planning of your wedding day (this may also give you some additional brownie points from your family!) Our theme for this year’s wedding fayre is ‘Secret Garden’ – think flower crowns, leaf garlands, floral wreaths and cosy corners filled with magical lanterns… check out our pinterest board for some further inspiration https://www.pinterest.co.uk/uftoncourt/april-wedding-fayre-2018-secret-garden/
And to make the most of your day, we have created a list of things which you might want to consider bringing:
- A notebook and pen – make sure you look the part! You will end up meeting so many different people from many different companies at our April wedding fayre, so it might be worth making a note of them and the information they give you, especially if they particularly catch your eye!
- Wear something comfortable – comfort is key and although there shouldn’t be too much walking, you will be on your feet for a large part of the day. Wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a bottle of water, wouldn’t hurt at all
- Bring people whose opinions you can trust – as the event is a free one, you are more than welcome to bring along your bridesmaids, your mother and even your grandmother to ensure that everyone can help in the decision making of your wedding! But make sure that they understand what you want from your big day and so they can help you make the best decisions.
- Colour schemes and wedding diaries – if you already have an idea of colour schemes or themes for your wedding, be sure to bring along some swatches as this will make it so much easier for the suppliers to visualise your ideas. Bringing your wedding diary or wedding planning book will mean that you have all information to hand!
If you would like to register for our April wedding fayre, and get yourself one of our fantastic goody bags, please send your name, your wedding date and venue (if you already have one!) and where you heard about the wedding fayre to email@example.com.
We look forward to seeing you on the 29th!
