World War Two
War is upon us, and every family must do their bit for the country…
Our World War Two programme focuses on The Home Front, where every British person is doing all they can do fight the war.
For your WW2 visit, our Air Raid Precaution Wardens will meet your children, as they arrive as evacuees in late 1940, from an urban area. Our narrative will allow your children to experience life and culture, as it would have been during the war. Whether it be for three days or one, your children will experience drama and fun in the activities that they do with us, all of which promote historical understanding, teamwork and problem solving.
“As always the workshop was superb with a wealth of knowledge and expertise shared. The children were so engaged and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. – Year 6 class teacher at Hillside Primary. December 2017
