Murphy’s Dog Blog
Paws for thought with Murphy
Welcome back pals.
I’ve had a very busy but pawsome half term week here at Ufton Court – there’s no rest for dogs like me!
This half term I’ve joined in with some fantastic family fun days, taking part in many outdoor challenges and games. We started our days off with a woodland walk, exploring opposites such as rough and smooth, big and small and looking at different animals’ homes – with the damp mornings, I was grateful for my fluffy coat!
We then managed to try our hand (and me, my paw) at some circus skills – I wasn’t very good at plate spinning or using the diablos, but my pals were amazing. I think I should stick to running, with my ears flapping in the wind.
We also learnt about healthy eating, using pumpkins as Halloween is fast approaching, before finishing off with an evening camp fire where we drank hot mugs of cocoa, enjoyed a hot dog treat, sang songs and told jokes.
Speaking of jokes…
What do the skeletons say before eating?
I can’t wait for you all to be back at school and Ufton Court this week, although a week of relaxation warming my paws by the fire would go down a treat!
