Paws for thought with Murphy
Welcome back pals!
It looks as though the next week is going to be really exciting and brimming with activities as there are some fantastic festivals and days of celebration happening over the next week, and I love a celebration… especially when it means spending more time with my friends!
My human friends have told me that on Tuesday it is Pancake Day or Shrove Tuesday, the traditional day of feasting before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday. We love to have feasts and celebrations here at Ufton History, which normally take way of a banquet – where my pals learn how Romans, Greeks, Vikings for example would feast and how they would celebrate too!
On Friday, it is Chinese New Year and this year it is the Year of the Dog – the most pawsome animal of course!
And the whole week is of course Half Term, which I am a little bit sad about as it means that my pals won’t be on site to have fantastic adventures with! I am hoping that some of my furry friends will visit me this week, but I always have my pals on the farm to speak to while everyone is off enjoying a holiday. Which reminds me of a fantastic joke…
What happens when you cross a rooster, a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle?
You get a Cockerpoodledoo.
Have a great week everyone – I can’t wait to hear what you’ve all been up to!
