Paws for thought with Murphy
Welcome back pals!
It’s the Easter Holidays… yippee I hear you all cry! Although it is now meant to be Spring, the weather at the beginning of the week was NOT egg-tra lovely! These last few days though, have been absolutely egg-cellent – it definitely feels like spring has sprung! I have been exploring what I can of the grounds, roaming through the vibrant yellow daffodils (in between the showers) and trying not to get my paws too muddy in the ‘river’ which has formed in the History woods!
Some of my friends have been here this week, where we took part in some egg-cellent adventure days! We learnt all about the story of Robin Hood and his merry men, engaging with the environment and working in a team to defeat the Sheriff at Nottingham Castle. The rain even held off so that we could have a campfire with lots of yummy treats in the evening!
We’ve also had lots of weddings over Easter weekend and this past week … I just couldn’t help myself from having a little look at what was happening. There were some great ideas with lots of Easter egg hunts, and Easter themed favours. I even got into the spirit by wearing some Easter bunny ears…
The weddings are egg-tra great here at Ufton as all profits go back into our children’s charity, allowing lots more children to take part in fantastic residential visits. Our programmes at Ufton Adventure raises the aspiration and attainment of disadvantaged and disabled children through outdoor learning.
If you would like to book a viewing at Ufton, please contact the wedding team on firstname.lastname@example.org.
That’s it for now pals, make sure if you are revising for egg-ams this Easter, take regular breaks to go on outdoor adventures. I am egg-cited to see you all back at Ufton very soon…
(P.s how many ‘eggs’ did you manage to find in this week’s blog!)
