Welcome back pals.
The Christmas countdown is well and truly on here at Ufton Court – only 4 more sleeps to go until someone in a big red coat brings me lots of delicious bones… my favourite!
Last week we put up the Christmas trees at Ufton Court. I love this time of year, because everyone is always so happy and there always seems to be lots of singing and extra food for me – yum! The Christmas tree in the tithe barn is my favourite, its so tall and my pals say that they have to use something called a ladder to help them reach the top! I love to help with this, but as you can imagine, my friends at Ufton Court don’t appreciate me running off with the baubles… I don’t know why they can’t throw them for me to fetch though? Can you guess how many trees we have here?
As Christmas approaches and 2017 come to an end, this is a perfect time for me to reflect on a fantastic term here at Ufton Court. I have enjoyed being a part of so many different residential and day trips, learning about Tudors and Vikings, Saxons and Celts, Egyptians and Greeks. In my last blog, I spoke about the different activity spots, and I cannot wait to get back out with my pals, to try lots more activities in January. If you would like to see what we’ve been up to this year, our Christmas newsletter is on our website!
With the wreath hung up and the three Christmas trees decorated, its time for me to hang up my stocking and patiently wait for Father Christmas… which reminds me of a great joke…
