Wedding Season at Ufton

Paws for thought with Murphy
Murphy glasses

As we have a wedding every day except Tuesday this week (!), I thought that I would lend my paw to the grounds team and see how they prepare for the busy summer wedding period.

We started off by doing a little bit of weeding in the herb garden….

Followed by a little bit of patching up the wall to the barn courtyard…

Then we got the sprinkler out to ensure that the grass was looking nice and lush (or as much as it can do since it’s been baked by the sun) – this was my favourite job, although I did keep getting told off for running through the water!

I then had a ride of the back of the lawnmower to ensure the drive was looking spick and span for the arrival of the bride …

The final job of the day was to rake over the gravel at the front of the house…

I’ve got a great joke for you : What do you call two young married spiders? Newly webs.

Phew, what a busy day we had today … and it’ll need doing again for next week’s weddings! To arrange a viewing at Ufton, please contact
