Our Managing Director Fiona Craig, and our Head of Learning Neil Gauld, will be giving the University of Reading’s BA Education Annual Lecture this year: Learning Outside The Classroom: The Mechanics And Methodology Of The Ufton Court Approach.
They will talk about why learning outside the classroom is so important for all children but especially for those facing challenges in school and at home. They will talk about Ufton’s successful work raising aspiration and attainment through unlocking ambition.
The lecture will also cover the partnership between Ufton and The University, showing how a successful collaboration leads to more effective learning and greater impact in young lives.
It will be a fascinating talk for those interested in outdoor learning and alternative ways of delivering education. The lecture will take place at 6pm on 16th March at the University’s historic London Road campus.
It is free lecture although you must register to attend. You can register and see more information here.
Ufton Adventure would not be possible without donations. If you would like to contribute to the future of an Ufton Adventure child please donate here:
