This term, we’re delighted to welcome three new faces to our education team.
“I love the outdoors. I’m a keen nature lover and enjoy learning new things (every day is a learning day!) I am really looking forward to working with all the young people that come through Ufton’s doors and seeing them personally develop and experience new things across their multiple visits”
Skylar joins the team as a Trainee Outdoor Leader, having worked in a Primary School in Reading. She has also volunteered in roles at school clubs, holiday camps and at charities. She has a multitude of skills and hobbies including circus skills, nature crafts and scuba diving!
“I am really looking forward to learning new skills and being part of the incredible Ufton team enabling children to enhance their skills and develop in an amazing setting. I’m also looking forward to learning more of Ufton’s amazing history!”
“Ufton is great for helping kids not only focus but also giving them the freedom to try new things. On my school trip here, our class really did come out of their shells and some of them engaged for the first time. I saw the impact that the trip had on the students and they were definitely more interested in the Viking topic afterwards.”
