Introducing our new and improved 24 mile cycle route

  01 Aug 2019

Following feedback from the Sportive 2018, we’re excited to have brought in some changes to our shorter route to make it even more enjoyable for everyone taking part!

Here’s a run down of some of the fantastic improvements and reasons why this route could be for you…

More in common with the 57 mile route
Rather than two completely separate routes like last year, the 24 mile route will now ride much of the longer challenge route, but just taking a little short cut in the middle! This means that everyone can feel like they’re taking part in one big event.

Fewer Hills
The Thames Valley is undeniably hilly… so while no route that we do will be able to eliminate these, we’ve cut out a few of the big ones to make it a bit more enjoyable!

Rest Stop
We’re very excited that our shorter route now also includes a rest stop! We’ll have a base at Aldermaston School, at mile 15, full of refreshments and treats for you to help yourself to and refuel to get you round those last 10 miles!

If you think the new route could be just the ride for you, make sure you join us for what promises to be a fun and rewarding event – plus all the proceeds raised from sponsorship will go towards Ufton Adventure.
