Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge

This is a nationally recognised indicator of good quality educational provision. The award is an accreditation scheme that assesses the quality of learning and safety by providers outside the classroom. This award assures all teachers that Ufton Court offers good quality and safe provision. Ufton Court had to demonstrate robust risk management, safeguarding and child protection measures as well as providing skilled educational staff who can truly bring a topic to life. Ufton Court was assessed and awarded the LotC quality badge in 2016.

The Sandford Award

Any school can be assured that the Ufton Court staff will deliver a valuable learning experience, one which the children will remember for a very long time. Sandford Judges 2014.

The Sandford Award is an independently judged, quality assured assessment of education programmes at heritage sites. It recognises quality and excellence in the educational services and facilities at a site, as specified in the criteria laid down by the Heritage Education Trust.  Managing Director, Fiona Craig, and lead teacher, Neil Gauld, collected the award at a ceremony at the National Maritime Museum presented by Dr Lucy Worsley in December 2014.

The Adventuremark

Awarded to Ufton Court in 2014. Adventuremark is a safety accreditation scheme devised by the Adventure Activity Industry Advisory Committee for providers of adventurous activities that are outside the scope of Adventure Licensing regulations. The Adventuremark badge confirms that the holder conforms to the necessary standards of good practice in lots of different situations.

The Wedding Industry Award – Regional Finalist 2016 & 2017

Ufton Court reached the regional finals for the South East Region. The Wedding industry award is open to all wedding suppliers based in England and votes are invited from brides who are getting married between the 1st of November and 23rd October of that particular year. A regional short-list is then drawn up and the regional winners go through to the national final.

Thames Valley Business Awards- Highly Commended 2015 & 2017

Ufton Court Educational Trust has been Highly Commended by the 2015 and 2017 Thames Valley Business Magazine Awards. In the Charity of the Year category, the judges aimed to recognise the hard-work and dedication of charitable organisations in the Thames Valley region. The awards have given Ufton Court the opportunity  to showcase our achievements and we are delighted that our impact and growth has been recognised.
