Would you like to get involved? We need you!

Volunteers are a vital part of life at Ufton Court and there are opportunities to get involved in many different ways from conservation projects to gardening to decorating as well as helping with our holiday programmes.

If you can spare any time you would be very welcome and could make a real difference to our work at Ufton.

Our volunteers have been made up of groups and individuals. Groups have included youth and church groups, the Princes Trust, companies and Volunteers Reading. They have tackled larger projects such as wood and pond clearance, lime washing the Tithe Barn, coppicing and even restoring our beautiful hall floor by manually removing years of ingrained dirt.

Individuals have become involved usually where they have an interest or skill that can contribute to an area of life at Ufton. This may be supporting the teaching team, gardening, animal care or with fundraising and office support. There are opportunities for all ages whether you want work experience from school or an interesting project in your retirement.

If you would like to become involved or would like more information please contact the office on 0118 983 2099 or email admin@uftoncourt.co.uk.

It is fun and you will make a real difference!

All volunteers are subject to our child protection procedures and DBS checks.
